MG Heavy Arms Complete

Heavy Arms

I built and painted the Heavy Arms within the same week of receiving it. Unfortunately during the process I also managed to lose a few parts. During the last week of the Sinanju build gginfinite sent me the replacements I had been waiting for.

Project Unicorn : (Banshee) Almost There!

Keeping words down to a minimum.

The Banshee is almost done, did the detailing and washes on the metallics. Will get the decals on and have it done by the weekend hopefully!

Here's a teaser.

Project HGUC Sinanju Start to Finish: Detailing

We're nearing then end. This will be final section covering tutorials.

I'm going to write this section a little bit differently. It shouldn't look any different to the readers, but I'm going to be writing as I'm working instead of writing after the work is done. Hopefully this will provide you more insight!

Panel Lining:

I have all of my tools laid out in this photo:

Project Unicorn : (Banshee) Stage 2 [Laying Down the Paint]

Sorry for the long gap in between posts, but life got pretty hectic in the last week, mostly due to work, 9am-12am+ for 5 days in a row wasn't fun!

Glad that its over now and can spend my time on gunpla again.

Anyways, to keep this post from being too word-centric, we'll get straight to the point. Did some painting a couple weekends ago and these are the results.

Project Sinanju Interlude

So, progress is slowing down just slightly with the high temperatures and the work load I've been facing. So until the next segment is ready, enjoy the photos!

Project HGUC Sinanju Start to Finish: Painting

If you have been following along with the previous two sections, you should now have a clean, completed, and modified Sinanju ready for painting.

For the next several steps I'm going to assume the following things; you have some experience painting and that you have access to either an air brush or to spray cans.

If you're following along, please read this entire post before continuing! Not all of the steps are in the correct chronological order!

For this kit, I'm going to be using the follow airbrush paints from Plamo UK

Clear Red
Gloss Clearcoat

I will also be using one color of Modelmasters enamel paint, but only for the sleeve detail

I will be using my airbrush for this entire section.

For reference I use a Badger Renegade Krome dual action gravity feed brush, a generic water trap & a badger compressor, and I spray at 30psi.

Project Delta Enhancement (Delta Epsilon)

I spent some time over the weekend finishing the initial build on the MG Delta Plus.Going forward this is going to be project Delta enhancement or Delta Epsilon.

The stock kit isn't great, and there are some serious design and stability problems. But, I really like the design.

Weekend Wip

Hey Guys

I have some cool news, Gunpla by GGD hit 10,000 visitors this weekend. So a big thank you to everyone  who has been reading and following along!

Unfortunately it looks like the next step in the HG Sinanju start to finish project is going to be delayed by 1 week. I didn't estimate correctly and subsequently ran out of clear red paint!

As a consolation here are some WIP photos from project Sinanju and project Delta E

Project Unicorn : Stage 1 [Snapfits, Concept and Prep]

Alright, so I've pretty much cleared the first stage of starting out on gunpla. What, in my opinion, is the worst, most torturing, and stress-inducing stage. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about...

But before we clear that up, here's a picture of our 2 heroines (Yes, Gundams, like ships and cars are female) !

Project HGUC Sinanju Start to Finish: Modifications

Welcome to part 3!

While I'm building a model, I'm always on the lookout for things that could be improved. The Sinanju is a really good design, but there are still a few things we can do to make it look that much better.
