GoodGuyCompetition 2014 Winners Announced
Here it is; the moment a lot of you have been waiting for; today I'm going to announce the winners of the 2014 GGC...
We had a bit of delay with the judging process. At the last minute I decided to combine the intermediate and advanced categories into one combined category. I made this decision due to both the low completion rate in the advanced category as wells as the high quality builds that came out of the intermediate category.
This contest had a ton of really great, well executed and creative submissions, and I regret not having more prizes to hand out to more participants!
But before I announce the winners let's take a moment to look at all of the user submissions. Users that submitted their kits through online albums have their names linked to more content.

Winners of the 2014 GGC:
Beginner:
The winner of the beginner category is Erich for his MG Rx 78-2 3.0. The beginner category is sponsored by my favorite online Gunpla shop ModelGrade.net. Erich has won a HG Star Build Strike Gundam Plavsky Wing plus a set of fine lining Gundam Markers generously provided by Joe; owner of ModelGrade.net
Erich modeled a fantastic looking 3.0; It's well de-nubbed, well lined, well decaled and well photographed. Erich also used a small amount of metallic paint to highlight some of detail on the back of the legs in the frame. Erich also did a great job showing off the pose-ability of this kit in this photos.
Intermediate
As described above the intermediate and advanced category have been combined into one category. Instead of one prize there will be a prize for the first place and a prize for second place.
The First place winner of the intermediate category is Guillaume; he modeled a HG Powered GM. Guillaume has won the MG RM Aile Strike and decal set. I can't tell if the heat spear he created was kit bashed or scratch built, but it looks great on the powered GM. The model has a good degree of battle damage and weathering. I think the decals were used sparingly but well.
The Second place winner is Jay for this MG Strike Freedom Gundam. Jay has won the RG RX 78 GP01 Zephyranthes and decal set. On top of just being an excellently completed model Jay had one of the most comprehensive and awesome photo shoots of any of the participants.
Participation prizes:
Because some participants have the same name I've included the models they submitted to avoid confusion.
Wilfrido (Hygoog)
Josh (MG Aile Stirke RM)
Anthony (HG Double X)
