MG RX-78-02 Gundam Origin 'Real Type'
Introduction:
This is painted build #198. As I've approached my 200th build I've gone back to my roots and started knocking out long-standing projects, as well as backfilling some kits that I had sold off in the past. The Origin I painted back in 2017 was high up on the list of kits I wanted in my collection again.
Kit Talk:
I did 'stuff' to this kit. Added panel lines, pla-plate, custom bits, and bobs. I wanted to add 'more' to this build because my plan with #199 and #200 was to keep the basic kit stock 'out of box'. The most prominent additions are probably the extra sensor elements added to the chest. I replaced the head vulcans with pla-rods because I broke one when drilling it out, I also added a little wing to the tip of the helmet.
The color scheme for this build is the 'Real Type' color. I've fallen in love with this scheme and I hope it catches on with other people too. The decals for this kit are from Grework; they're a good alternative to the stock decal scheme.
