FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam
2020 has been a very rough year for a lot of people. If you found yourself struggling during the year I hope you are able to find relief in the next year. The Full Armor Gundam is my final project for 2020. Based on the 2.0 Gundam and originally a standard MG release Bandai seemingly pulled the Green Full Armor out of production and started selling this blue variation as a Peeb.
Kit Talk:
I grabbed some spare parts from another Gundam 2.0 I had, I wanted to have a beam rifle, bazooka, shield, and another head color as an option. Technically the Gundam should have the blue head, but I preferred the more traditional white version.
I scribed some panel lines, and did some other odds and ends to pump the detail of this kit up a little bit.
Many of the armor components are connected using nothing but double-sided sticky tape. Why Bandai chose to do this is a bit of a mystery. So far those parts are holding up, but I will be curious to see how well they preform over time.
